These Terms and Conditions govern the tuition services provided by M4 Maths. By booking a diagnostic assessment, lessons or a lesson package, you (the parent, guardian or adult student) agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Our services
M4 Maths provides specialist one-to-one Mathematics tuition (including GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and Further Maths), delivered online, one-to-one. We are committed to high-quality, professional teaching. While we work hard to help every student progress, we cannot guarantee any specific grade, mark or examination outcome.
Booking and enquiries
Enquiries can be made through our website. A lesson or package is confirmed once details have been agreed and payment has been received. We may decline or end an arrangement where we are unable to provide a suitable service.
Fees and payment
All lessons must be paid for in advance. Fees are as published on our website or as quoted to you before booking. Lessons cannot be taken until payment has been received.
Lesson packages and validity
Lessons may be purchased individually or as a package (for example, 5 or 10 lessons). All lessons and packages are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Any lessons not used within this period will expire and cannot be carried over, refunded or transferred.
Cancellations and rescheduling
We understand that plans change. To cancel or reschedule a lesson without charge, please give us at least 48 hours' notice.
- Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice are charged in full and count as a used lesson.
- If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson (a 'no-show'), the lesson is charged in full.
Notice can be given by email or your agreed contact method.
Refunds
Lessons and packages are non-refundable. Once payment has been made, fees are not refunded, including for unused lessons or lessons that expire. In exceptional circumstances, and entirely at our discretion, we may offer a credit towards future lessons.
Cancellations by M4 Maths
If we need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, we will give you as much notice as possible and will reschedule it or add it back to your package at no additional cost. The six-month validity period is not reduced by time lost to a cancellation by us.
Punctuality and lesson length
Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time. If a student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time and cannot be extended. If the tutor is late, the missed time will be made up or credited.
Online lessons, conduct and parental responsibility
As all lessons are online, the student is responsible for a suitable, quiet environment and a working device and internet connection. The parent or guardian is responsible for booking, payment and the appropriate supervision of a minor during lessons. Lessons are not recorded without prior agreement. We expect lessons to be conducted respectfully and may decline or end tuition in cases of inappropriate behaviour.
Learning materials and intellectual property
Any worksheets, notes or resources we provide are for the personal use of the student only. They remain the intellectual property of M4 Maths and must not be copied, shared or distributed without our permission.
Liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, M4 Maths' total liability arising from the tuition is limited to the fees paid for the lesson or package concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
Privacy
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with its update date, and applies to bookings made after it is published.
Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Dubai. These terms are provided in English and Arabic; in the event of any discrepancy, the English version prevails.
